The National Ports Agency (ANP) has launched an international tender to select a specialized operator for a major shipyard project.
This operator will be granted a 30-year concession to develop, equip, operate, and maintain the New Casablanca Port Shipyard.
The shipyard will include four main infrastructure components designed for large-scale ship repair and maintenance operations.
These include a dry dock measuring 244 meters by 40 meters, ideal for servicing large commercial vessels.
It also features a lifting platform measuring 150 meters by 28 meters, with a lifting capacity of 9,000 tons.
A 62-meter by 13-meter dock will be equipped with a 450-ton strap gantry crane for heavy lifting operations.
The facility includes outfitting quays with a total length of 820 linear meters, supporting efficient ship servicing.
Additionally, the shipyard will be supported by 21 hectares of backfill land for operations, logistics, and industrial development.
This tender marks a significant opportunity to modernize Morocco’s port infrastructure and boost its
